  • Developed a character-driven short film exploring emotional repression, vulnerability, and the dangers of avoidance, using the Angler creature as a symbolic extension of the protagonist’s internal conflict.

  • Led a highly visual pre-production process, including script breakdowns, pre-visualization, and department-head meetings to ensure a unified creative vision across camera, production design, and creature aesthetics.

  • Built a collaborative environment that encouraged creative input from key crew members, strengthening both narrative clarity and on-set problem-solving.

  • Directed performances with a focus on emotional authenticity, guiding actors through thematic nuances and ensuring the story’s psychological depth translated on screen.

Documentary Filmmaker — Iceland Ecotourism Project (W.I.P.)

Iceland | May 2024

  • Directing and filming a documentary exploring ecotourism in Iceland vs. the U.S., pitching sustainable solutions to profit from conservation.

  • Traveled 1,300+ miles around the country, camping and documenting landscapes including glaciers, sulfur fields, and wild puffins in 4K on Sony a6700.
