PENNHURST ASYLUM

This collection comes from my long-standing interest in haunted sites and the histories that shaped them. Pennhurst’s legacy is complex and painful, but witnessing how nature has begun to reclaim its grounds reveals a softer chapter, one defined by quiet growth and long-overdue rest. These photographs document that transformation.
