Jounrey to Iceland

On an unexpected trip to Iceland to film a final for my Environmental Film class with Kevin McCarey, Explorer’s Club member and National Geographic veteran, I discovered a new love for documentary and environmental conservation. Alongside Kat Severin, we plan to embark on a new journey to put our footage to use in a documentary centered around Iceland’s successful mission to preserve its country’s landscape and climate, all while making great profit from the efforts. With this mission, we aim to compare the U.S.’s lack of conservation efforts, and how its success could not only push environmental awareness but financial success.
